Pernod Ricard: presents strategic plan in France
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, the companies Ricard and Pernod presented their Staff Representative Organisations and all their employees, the project entitled "Reconquest!".
This project is part of the Group's three-year "Transform and Accelerate" strategic plan for all its markets worldwide.
Ricard and Pernod have proposed the creation of a single company, called Pernod Ricard France, effective as of 1 July 2020.
The proposed merger between both companies would result in about 280 voluntary redundancies. These positions would be in commercial and marketing positions relating to the merger.
The Group has also announced a plan to sell the Café de Paris brand and the Cubzac production site to InVivo Wine, the wine division of France's leading agricultural cooperative group.
