Pernod Ricard: completes acquisition of gin brand Malfy
(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard announces that it has completed the acquisition of the Italian super-premium gin Malfy, distilled by the Vergnano family in the Moncalieri region of Italy and distributed in several international markets.
Featuring four varieties (Original, Con Limone, Con Arancia and Gin Rosa), the Malfy range is made from ingredients such as juniper berries, lemons, blood oranges and pink grapefruit.
With this acquisition announced last April, the French spirits giant is expanding its portfolio in the fast growing categories of super-premium and flavoured gins, following its partnership with Monkey 47 and the acquisition of Ungava.
