Natixis: acquires 40 % of BPCE Assurances.
(CercleFinance.com) - Natixis has announced completing the acquisition of 40% of the capital of BPCE Assurances from Macif (25%) and Maif (15%).
Therefore, after this operation Natixis Assurances will be the sole shareholder of BPCE Assurances.
The transaction, which will cost 272 million euros for 40% of the capital of BPCE Asurances, will be funded by Natixis' equity capital.
BPCE Assurances, is the 3rd largest French non-life bancassurer, for clients of Caisses d'Epargne, as well as health insurance clients of Caisses d'Epargne and Banques Populaires.
