Danone: Q3 sales up 5.8%
(CercleFinance.com) - Danone has posted Q3 2021 sales of 6.
2 billion euros, up 5.8% as reported and up 3.8% like-for-like, with a value effect of +4.6% and a volume effect of -0.8%.
The agri-food group has announced a positive contribution from all categories to its growth, with a continued strong momentum from EDP (dairy and plant-based products) and the continued recovery of the specialist nutrition and water categories.
Believing that, despite several uncertainties, economies will continue to gradually reopen, Danone expects a return to profitable growth in the second half of the year, with its H2 2021 underlying operating margin expected to be broadly in line with that of 2020.
