Danone: string of investments in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Danone has announced a series of investments totalling around 100 million euros to strengthen its local capacities and accelerate the development of its specialised nutrition division in China.
They cover the creation of an "open science" research centre in Shanghai, the acquisition of a local baby milk production site, and enhanced capacities to further develop its specialty food products for medical purposes.
In addition, Danone has announced the B Corp certification of its baby foos subsidiary in China, marking an important step in Danone's aimsto become a fully B Corp certified company by 2025.
