Danone: to pioneer 'entreprise à mission' model
(CercleFinance.com) - At its AGM, which was held behind closed doors on Friday, Danone announced that, in view of the current health crisis, its shareholders largely approved the agri-food group's adoption of the French legal framework of 'entreprise à mission'.
Progress in achieving the objectives of this status will be supervised by an independent mission committee of 10 members, including eight experts (including Pascal Lamy), an independent director and an employee.
The AGM also set a 2019 cash dividend at 2.10 euros per share, with an ex-dividend date on 14 July, with a payment from 16 July, in addition to the renewal of several directors' mandates for three years.
