AXA: 2018 underlying earnings up 6%

(CercleFinance.com) - AXA reports underlying earnings that are up 6% at constant currency at 6.
2 billion euros for the past year, or 2.48 euros per share, with its board of directors proposing a dividend that is up 6% at 1.34 euro per share.

At 102.9 billion euros, the insurance company's revenues increased by 4%, with all its markets contributing to this growth - particularly Europe - mainly thanks to higher sales in Italy and Spain.

AXA CEO Thomas Buberl said that the group's target segments accelerated significantly, with revenues increasing respectively 3%, 5% and 7% respectively in providence, P&C for corporate clients and health insurance.
