AXA: sells its Ukrainian operations to Fairfax Financial
(CercleFinance.com) - Axa is set to leave the Ukrainian market: the French insurer this morning announced that it has concluded an agreement to sell its local subsidiaries with its Canadian counterpart Fairfax Financial Holdings.

In detail, the Ukrainian non-life insurance entity (Axa Insurance) and the life insurance and the life entity (Axa Insurance Life) are being sold, which remains subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of regulatory approvals.
