Axa: towards an acquisition in Spain.
(CercleFinance.com) - According to Bloomberg, which cites a closely related source, the AXA's real estate subsidiary and NN Group are currently in talks regarding a takeover of the Spanish property group Residencias de Estudiantes, which is owned by the March family.
Both these companies would be willing to pay out between 400 million euros and 500 million euros.
Residencias de Estudiantes is specialised in university residences, as its name suggests, and is based in Barcelona. It manages some 8,000 beds across around thirty Spanish campuses.
