Sanofi: partnership with MD Anderson in oncology
(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi announced on Tuesday that it has entered into a five-year partnership with the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas.
This strategic collaboration aims to accelerate the development of new cancer treatments, including immunotherapies and targeted therapies, the French biopharmaceutical group said.
Sanofi says that the MD Anderson Center will provide clinical trial facilities to study how certain treatments work by characterizing biomarkers.
The first projects resulting from the partnership should be launched this summer.
