Sanofi: raises FY 2019 EPS target
(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi has raised its 2019 EPS estimate, with it saying that "Business EPS" in 2019 is now expected to grow approximately 5% at constand exchange rates, "barring unforeseen major adverse events.
" The FX impact is estimated at between 1% and 2%, applying average exchange rates of July.
In Q2 2019, the French healthcare giant posted business net income that is up 5.3% at 1,641 million euros (4.9% at constant exchange rates), meaning EPS of 1.31 euro, up 4.8% at constant exchange rates.
Sales came in at 8,628 million euros, up 5.5% as reported, up 3.9% at constant exchange rates and up 5.8% at constant exchange rates and consolidation scope, with growth boosted by Sanofi Genzyme, Sanofi Pasteur and emerging markets.
