Sanofi: Q3 exceeds estimates

84 euro, up 11.2% at constant exchange rates, above the consensus of 1.70 euro.
Sales amounted to 9.392 billion euros, up 3.7% as reported, up 6.3% at constant exchange rates and up 3.4% at constant exchange rates and consolidation scope, supported by specialty medicine and vaccines, as well as a strong contribution from emerging markets.
EPS of activities in 2018 is now expected to grow by between 4% and 5% at constant exchange rates, excluding unforeseen major adverse events. The FX impact on the EPS of activities is estimated to be about -6% in 2018, applying the average exchange rates of October 2018.
