Sanofi: restructures alliance with Alnylam
(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi and Alnylam have announced the strategic restructuring of their alliance covering the development of RNAi agents, to streamline and optimise the development and marketing of certain products for the treatment of rare genetic diseases.
Under this restructuring, Sanofi giant health will obtain the global rights to the experimental therapeutic agent fitusiran in the treatment of hemophilia and other rare bleeding disorders.
Meanwhile, Alnylam will obtain global rights for investigational ATTR amyloidosis programs: patisiran and ALN-TTRsc02
