Sanofi: new executive DCV vice-president.
(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi has announced the appointment of Stefan Oelrich as Executive Vice President, Diabetes and Cardiovascular (DCV).
He will also be a member of the group's Executive Committee.
Mr. Oelrich has led Sanofi's Diabetes Global franchise since June 2016 and, on an interim measure, the DCV division in North America since July.
He has been responsible for DCV Europe and a Sanofi Coordinator for this area, and has been closely involved in the establishment of the Global Diabetes and Cardiovascular Entity as from the second half of 2015. He was also CEO for Germany, Switzerland and Austria from 2011 to 2015.
