Sanofi: new chairman soon appointed at Sanofi France.
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Tuesday Sanofi announced the appointment of Guillaume Leroy, aged 49, to the position of chairman for France as from 1 October.
He will succeed Philippe Luscan, Senior Vice President, Member of the Executive Committee, in charge of global industrial activities.
In this new role, Guillaume Leroy will coordinate all of Sanofi's activities in France and will represent the company in its contacts with the French authorities and professional organisations, in addition to his role as CEO for general medicine in France, a position he has held since January.
