Bouygues: posts net loss for Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has reported a net loss (group share) of 131 million euros for the first three months of 2022, compared with a net profit of 21 million euros a year ago, although its underlying operating margin edged up 0.
1 point to -0.9%.
The conglomerate's revenues increased by 6% to 8.2 billion euros (+3% LFL). At end-March 2022, the order book of its construction and services businesses increased 4% to 34.6 billion euros.
This year, Bouygues expects further growth in sales and its underlying operating profit, an outlook that depends on the absence of any further major deterioration in the current macro-economic and geopolitical context.
