Bouygues: 2020 net income, group share E696m (-41%)
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues' revenue reached 34.
7 billion euros, down 9% from 2019 (-8% LFL). Revenues fell just 3% y-o-y in H2 2020 (-15% y-o-y in H1 2020).
Operating profit amounted to 1,124 million euros, down 572 million euros (-34%) relative to 2019. This includes 98 million euros in non-recurrent income (compared with 20 million euros in 2019).
Net income, group share came in at 696 million euros in 2020, compared with 1,184 million euros in 2019 (-41%). This includes a 169 million euro contribution from Alstom (vs. 238 million euros in 2019), of which 118 million was recognised in Q4 2020.
Free cash flow generation remained solid, albeit down (725 million euros in 2020 versus 1,038 million euros in 2019).
"In 2021, the Group's sales and earnings should be well above those of 2020, although without reaching those of 2019. In 2022, Group current operating profit should return to the same level of 2019 or be slightly higher," the group said.
