Bouygues: contract with University of Brighton
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Construction has said that the University of Brighton, UK, has awarded it a contract for the construction and life cycle management, for 50 years, of a new student residence on its campus in Moulsecoomb, in the north of Brighton.
This project, worth a total of 160.7 million pounds, i.e. 181.3 million euros, is being jointly carried out by three local subsidiaries of Bouygues Construction: Linkcity (via its Uliving brand), Bouygues UK and Bouygues Energies & Services.
The project includes the construction of five buildings that will have over 800 student bedrooms. Work has just begun, with a scheduled delivery in September 2021, to be ready to welcome the first students for the academic year 2021-22.
