Bouygues: in negotiations to acquire Keyyo
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Telecom announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire a stake in Keyyo, representing 854,316 shares, or 43.
6% of this company's capital, as part of an OTC block sale at a price of 34 euros per share.
This price values Keyyo at around 67 million euros, meaning a premium of 30.8% compared to the closing price on 24 October. In the event that this sale is completed, Bouygues Telecom would file a voluntary takeover bid at the same price.
"This proposed deal is wholly in line with Bouygues Telecom's strategy of accelerating its expansion into the specific market of micro-businesses, SMEs and intermediate-sized businesses," said the telecommunications subsidiary of the conglomerate Bouygues.
