Bouygues: acquisition for Colas and Bouygues Construction
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Bouygues Construction and Colas Rail, the railway subsidiary of Colas (a subsidiary of Bouygues group), announced the closing of the acquisition of all the shares of Alpiq InTec AG (Zurich) and Kraftanlagen München GmbH (Munich), whose activities were grouped together within Alpiq Engineering Services.
Bouygues Construction and Colas Rail were selected by Groupe Alpiq on 26 March 2018 for the purchase of these multi-technology services activities for building and energy, industrial and transport infrastructures.
The acquisition was made, based on an enterprise value of 850 million Swiss francs (700 million Swiss francs for Bouygues Construction and 150 million Swiss francs for Colas Rail). At closing, the price of the acquisition of all shares was paid in cash, the buyers said.
