Bouygues: contract for Cardiff University
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Construction has said that that the University of Cardiff, Wales has awarded its subsidiary Bouygues UK a contract worth 122.
6 million pounds, or 134 million euros, for the Construction of its Innovation Campus.
The work will start in September 2018 for a planned delivery in 2021. Located on a decommissioned yard in Maindy Park, the project will create over 60 jobs in construction site management, technology and sales for the local population.
The Cardiff innovation Campus will consist of a centre to host SPARK, the world's first social science research park, as well as the innovation centre, and a translational research centre.
