AccorHotels: completes acquisition of Mantra
(CercleFinance.com) - AccorHotels has announced that the acquisition of Mantra Group has been completed for a total of 1.
3 billion Australian dollars, or 830 million euros, now making the group the sole shareholder of Mantra.
For the record, the group announced an offer on this Australian hotel chain last October. Last March, it received the green light from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for its takeover.
Mantra is one of Australia's largest hotel distributors and operators, operating 127 establishments, with over 20,000 hotel rooms, hotel complexes or apartments, in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Hawaii.
