AccorHotels: passes threshold of 100 countries
(CercleFinance.com) - AccorHotels says it has exceeded the symbolic barrier of 100 countries where it is present, hence taking pole position in the hotel industry in Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
In 2017, the group's portfolio included nearly 4,300 hotels and 600,000 rooms, with a record pipeline for the next five years representing 870 hotels, of which 79% are found in high growth markets.
AccorHotels also highlights that in its luxury and upscale segment, 30 hotels were opened and 60 hotels were bought last year, mainly in Asia Pacific (59%) and Africa-Middle East (24%).
