Vallourec: planned partnership in Ukraine
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Wednesday, in a press release, Vallourec announced its intention to initiate a partnership with Interpipe, a Ukrainian producer of seamless tubes.
The common project with both companies includes the joint production of seamless non-OCTG carbon tubes (Ed: OCTG, for "Oil Country Tubular Goods"). These are tubes fitted to oil and gas wells) for the European market.
Production is scheduled to begin in the autumn of 2018 and Vallourec will market these tubes in Europe.
