Vallourec: new contracts with Petrobras
(CercleFinance.com) - Vallourec has announced new contracts for three years with Petrobras to provide OCTG seamless premium tubes, combining shades of premium steel and the latest hi-tech connections, as well as specialised services.
The associated products and services will be used by the Brazilian national oil company on its offshore wells for exploration and production of oil and gas, which are located in the major reservoirs of the pre-salt basin.
Petrobras is one of the largest oil producers in the world and operates offshore reserves in the pre-salt area which have huge potential, said Philippe Crouzet, Vallourec's Chairman.
