L'Oréal: environmental performance hailed in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Tuesday l'Oréal announced that last year it had been awarded on several occasions for its leadership in terms of environmental performance by a number of reputed international organisations.
The latest award came from Newsweek's Green Ranking, which, in partnership with Corporate Knights, awarded the world leading cosmetics group a "green score" of 89.90%, which is the highest score amongst 500 global companies.
L'Oréal is also one of just two companies in the world to receive an "A" rating in each of the 3 CDP (climate protection, sustainable water management and fight against deforestation) rating categories, an international reference body that analyses the performance of over 3,000 companies on these 3 key issues.
