TotalEnergies: invests in energy in Poland
(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies today announces the acquisition of Polska Grupa Biogazowa (PGB) - Poland's leading biogas producer - and a portfolio of solar projects under development with a capacity of 200 megawatts (MW).
PGB is a company with 130 employees in nine regions of Poland, whose main business is the production of renewable electricity and heat from biogas derived from organic waste.
It owns and operates 17 units in production and one under construction, with a total capacity of 166 GWh per year of electricity production. PGB's portfolio also includes 23 projects under development.
The acquisition of PGB brings TotalEnergies' biogas production capacity to 1.1 TWh.
