TotalEnergies: new research centre in Denmark
(CercleFinance.com) - On CEO Patrick Pouyanné's visit to Denmark, TotalEnergies has announced signing an agreement with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) to create the DTU-TotalEnergies Excellence Centre of Clean Energy.
This centre of excellence will focus on developing reliable, cost-effective and low-emission energy solutions, improving the intermittency of renewable energies and accelerating the decarbonisation of industrial facilities.
Located in Risø, west of Copenhagen, it will be housed within the premises of DTU, which is, among other things, recognised as being at the forefront of offshore wind research, thus paving the way for synergies with TotalEnergies' activities, it said.
