TotalEnergies: increases production of recycled plastics
(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies has inaugurated the extension of Synova, a specialist in the production of recycled polypropylene, which it acquired in 2019, in Tillières-sur-Avre (Normandy).
Thanks to the installation of two new production lines, Synova will be able to produce nearly 45,000 tonnes per year of mechanically recycled polypropylene.
This Synova expansion project will enable us to double our mechanical recycling production capacity in France, it said, enabling the group to fully contribute to its aim to produce 30% of recycled and renewable polymers by 2030, it added.
