Total: wins 50 MW of solar projects in France
(CercleFinance.com) - Total announces that, through its French renewable energy subsidiary Total Quadran, it has won 50 megawatts (MW) of solar projects in the ninth period of the CRE 4 call for tenders.
Total therefore confirms its position as the leader in solar development in France, with nearly 400 MW, i.e. the largest volume won over the last 18 months.
The majority of the winning sites will be built on run down sites, which will enable former industrial sites to be upgraded. Total Quadran will be responsible for the construction, operation and commissioning of these projects through until 2022.
