Total: inaugurates NGV and bioNGV station
(CercleFinance.com) - Total announces that it has inaugurated France's largest station that is exclusively dedicated to Natural Gas for Vehicles (NGV) and bioGNV.
Located in the logistics platform of the river port of Gennevilliers, Total will operate it for the next 10 years.
Awarded by Sigeif Mobilités following a call to tender, this concession will support the development of new forms of mobility in the Paris Region and thus become a strategic NGV and bioNGV refuelling point for Greater Paris and beyond.
This station, under the Total banner distributes NGV in the form of compressed natural gas and is supplied by GRTgaz's transmission system with high-pressure gas, which comes as a first in France, the energy group says.
