Total: develops Solar Mapper tool
(CercleFinance.com) - Total and Google Cloud announce that they have jointly developed Solar Mapper, which aims to accelerate the deployment of solar installations for individuals by providing a fast and precise estimate of the solar energy potential of homes.
Solar Mapper uses new artificial intelligence algorithms that offer better results than current tools, in particular by improving the sharpness of solar potential estimates and the pertinence of the technology to be installed.
In the case of France, Solar Mapper provides a geographical coverage of more than 90%. Total also plans to develop a Solar Mapper application dedicated to buildings and industrial and commercial installations.
