Total: sells assets in Brunei and Africa
(CercleFinance.com) - Total announces the sale of several non-strategic assets in exploration-production (Brunei) and marketing & services (Sierra Leone and Liberia), worth over 400 million dollars in all.
The energy group has therefore finalised the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary Total E&P Deep Offshore Borneo BV, which holds an 86.95% stake in Block CA1, which Total operated, with its share in production representing approximately 5,000 boe/d in 2019.
Total has also signed an agreement to divest its marketing & services activities in Liberia and Sierra Leone, which consist of a network of 63 service stations and activities for the marketing, import and storage of oil products.
