6% today, after the group published Q3 2019 adjusted net income that is down 24% at 3.02 billion dollars, or 1.13 dollar per share, hence beating the consensus of over 20 cents.
Adjusted operating income from business segments decreased by 19% to nearly 3.7 billion dollars, with lower contributions from exploration-production (-29%), integrated gas, renewables and electricity (-18%) and the marketing-services divisions (-13%).
"Cash flow was essentially stable at $7.4 billion compared to a year ago, thanks to production growth of more than 8% from cash flow accretive projects" said Total CEO Patrick Pouyanné.
