Total: towards divestment of assets in North Sea?
(CercleFinance.com) - According to Aurel BGC the energy giant Total could soon announce the sale of several stakes in oil and gas fields located in the North Sea, quoting the British newspaper The Telegraph.
The broker specifies that these assets would be sold to Albion Energy and First Alpha Energy Capital for 1 billion pounds. In December, Bloomberg, citing industry sources, reported advanced discussions for this transaction.
As a reminder, last week Total announced a significant new discovery in the North Sea off the UK, on the Glengorm prospect located in Central Graben, by a well drilled to a final depth of 5,056 metres.
