Total: helps to found alliance to end plastic waste
(CercleFinance.com) - Total announces its participation in the creation of a new international alliance to provide solutions to eliminate plastic waste in the environment, and particularly in the oceans.
The alliance to eliminate plastic waste, launched by over 30 member companies worldwide, has committed over 1.0 billion dollars, aiming to invest 1.5 billion dollars over the next five years to help end plastic waste in the environment.
As a non-profit making organisation, it will develop and implement solutions to reduce and manage plastic waste and encourage recycling.
