Total: launches service station network in Angola
(CercleFinance.com) - The Total Group has announced that it has signed an agreement with the Angolan company Sonangol, to together launch a network of service stations in the country, via a joint venture.
“While developing B2B activities, the Total-Sonangol Joint Venture will initially focus on fuel distribution and lubricants sales on the B2C segment, starting with a network of service-stations under the TOTAL brand,” Total said.
Under this agreement, Sonangol will bring 45 existing service stations to the joint venture. Total will work with its partner to develop a network of stations " in order to meet the highest international retail standards,“as well as “improve fuel quality distribution throughout the country.”
