Total: new agreements signed with Petrobras
(CercleFinance.com) - In an update on the progress of its strategic alliance concluded with Petrobras in March 2017, Total has announced the transfer to it of the remaining 10% stake of the Brazilian field of Lapa, for a total of 50 million dollars.
Following this transaction, which remains subject to approval from Brazilian authorities, Total, the operator of the field located in the pre-saltwater basin of Santos, will hold a 45% stake, alongside Shell (30%) and Repsol-Sinopec (25%).
Total has also announced signing a binding framework agreement between its subsidiary Total Eren and Petrobras to create a joint venture before 31 July 2019 to develop solar and onshore windfarm projects in Brazil.
