Total: sells stake in Hazira terminal
(CercleFinance.com) - Total group today announces the sale of its stake in the Hazira terminal in India.
The group has signed a binding letter of intent with Shell regarding its 26% minority interest in the LNG regasification terminal.
In addition, Total announces that it has signed a contract for the sale of 0.5 million tonnes of LNG p.a. to Shell, for a period of five years, which is intended for the Indian market and neighbouring countries. This LNG will come from Total's global portfolio, the group said. Deliveries will begin in 2019.
