Total: adjusted net results up 44% in Q2
(CercleFinance.com) - The Total Group reported this Thursday morning that its group share of net income for the 2nd quarter was up 44% to 3.
6 billion dollars, or 1.31 dollars per share.
For the half year, revenue rose +28% or 6.4 billion dollars and 2.41 per share.
On its part, the group share of net income reached 3.7 billion dollars (+83% compared to the same period in 2017).
“Petrol prices have continued to rise this quarter to reach $74 a barrel, in particular supported by depleting stocks and geopolitical tensions. Total has fully taken advantage of this by continuing to concentrate on operational efficiency”, comments Patrick Pouyanné, CEO of Total.
