Total: contract with Sigeif Mobilités
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday morning Total announced the construction and forthcoming operation of the largest station in France that is exclusively devoted to natural gas for vehicles (NGV) and bio-NGV.
Awarded at the end of the call to tender launched by Sigeif Mobilités, a local joint-venture company created by Sigeif and Caisse des Dépôts, this concession will be located in the heart of the logistics platform at the port of Gennevilliers (Hauts-de-Seine), the second largest river port in Europe.
In keeping with its environmental commitments, the oil giant has also pledged to Sigeif Mobilités that at least 10% of the total volume of NGV marketed on the Gennevilliers station is of renewable origin (bio-NGV).
Development works will begin in the autumn this year, for a scheduled delivery in the spring of 2019.
