Total: signs distribution agreement in Mexico.
(CercleFinance.com) - Total has announced its entry into the petroleum products distribution sector in Mexico.
The group has signed an agreement with the Mexican group Gasored for the Total brand to take over a network of about 250 service stations in Mexico City and its region.
Total wants to take advantage of the opening up of Mexican distribution to competition and significantly strengthen its activities in the country.
This strengthening of our presence in Mexico, the second largest market in Latin America for the distribution of petroleum products, is part of our strategy to develop our network in major markets, said Momar Nguer, head of Marketing & Services at Total.
