CNP Assurances: cancels proposed dividend
(CercleFinance.com) - CNP Assurances announces that its board of directors has decided to amend the agenda of its AGM of 17 April to propose the appropriation of its entire earnings of 2019 to retained earnings, instead of paying a dividend.
The insurance company adds that, over the coming months, its board will regularly evaluate if, and under what conditions, a new AGM could decide on a dividend payment.
The board has also decided that the AGM will take place behind closed doors. Shareholders are invited to ask their questions via the company's website in writing and to vote by electronic means which they will be informed about.
