CNP Assurances: MoU with Caixa Seguridade.
(CercleFinance.com) - This morning CNP Assurances announced signing a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Caixa Seguridade providing for the terms of a new exclusive distribution agreement in Brazil as from 1 January 2018.
The conclusion of this new agreement would enable the French insurer, after paying the price, to exclusively distribute via Caixa Econômica Federal's network in Brazil until 13 February 2041, on a new scope.
If a final agreement is reached, CNP Assurances would therefore abandon the current exclusive distribution rights of its subsidiary Caixa Seguros under the existing partnership in advance, from 1 January 2018.
