Carrefour: Invest Securities trims target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Maintaining its "neutral" position on Carrefour shares, Invest Securities has trimmed its target price for them from 16.
5 euros to 16 euros, after the food retail giant unveilved its Q3 sales figures.

Carrefour has been under pressure from a very demanding reference base, as well as the ongoing rebalancing of consumption between home and away from home, the broker notes, adding that few countries are escaping a negative trend, not even France.

In short, what can we expect from Carrefour on the stockmarket when its apparent value status stumbles on a growth trajectory that is far too modest to revive investors' interest? the analyst asks.

The share is currently up over 1%, while the CAC 40 is down almost 0.5%.
