Carrefour: EU authorises takeover of Market Pay
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control of Market Pay, based in France, by Carrefour and AnaCap Financial Partners III, which is controlled by AnaCap Group Holdings, both of which are based in the UK.
Market Pay is a payment solutions provider founded by Carrefour in 2016. AnaCap is a private equity fund.
The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not give rise to competition concerns given its very limited impact on the market's structure.
