Carrefour: successful bond repurchase offer
(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour today announces the result of its bond repurchase offer launched on 14 November 2019.
The repurchase offer concerned 1 billion euros of bond issues with a 4.00% coupon maturing on 9 April 2020 and 1 billion euros of bonds with a coupon of 3.875% maturing on 25 April 2021.
Following this deal, the nominal amount remaining in issue will be 801,915,000 euros for the 2020 Bonds and 871,310,000 for the 2021 Bonds.
This transaction is part of Carrefour's dynamic management to optimise its funding costs and its balance sheet structure, the group said.
