Carrefour: H1 group share net loss -E861 million
(CercleFinance.com) - The Group's turnover including taxes comes to E41,439 million for the first half year, up +2.
2% at constant exchange rates.
Recurring operating income (ROI) for the Group reaches E597 million, up E36 million and 5.8% at constant exchange rates compared to the ROI published in the first half of 2017. Operating margin is stable at 1.6%.
Group share of net income ends up at -E861 million. The Group posts an improvement to its free cash-flow adjusted for exceptional items of +E418 million, going from -E2,587 million to -E2,169 million.
The Group confirms all of its targets established at the beginning of the year. It expects sales of E5 billion for food e-commerce, and the same in organic produce in 2022. Management plans to cut E2 billion in costs for the full year horizon 2020, to sell E500 million in non-strategic real-estate assets between now and 2020 and an investment envelope of E2 billion in 2018.
