Carrefour: new agreement with Greenyard Fresh
(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour Belgique has signed a new cooperation agreement with Greenyard Fresh, the world leader in the market of fresh and prepared fruit and vegetables and substrates.
Carrefour franchises will now have more frequent deliveries, with better-adapted quantities ordered, while benefiting from shorter delivery times, using the "First-In-Fresh" logistics platform.
Greenyard Fresh will have a new distribution centre at the Greenyard site at Sint-Katelijne-Waver, which will be fully operational by the start of the summer.
The cooperation agreement concerns over 1,500 fresh products (meat, fish, etc.) in addition to the range of fruit and vegetables that Greenyard Fresh already delivers to Carrefour franchise partners, Carrefour management said.
