Carrefour: Q3 sales up in Brazil.
(CercleFinance.com) - Before Carrefour publishes its full sales shortly, on Wednesday Grupo Carrefour Brasil, the parent company of Carrefour's business in Brazil, reported Q3 gross sales of 12.
2 billion reals, i.e. about 3.3 billion euros.
Revenues were up 5.5% y-o-y. Carrefour contributed 3.7 billion Brazilian reals and Atacadão 8.5 billion Brazilian reals, up 5% and 5.6%, respectively.
Over the first 9 months, Grupo Carrefour Brasil generated revenues of just over 36 billion Brazilian reals (+8% y-o-y), including 11.25 billion Brazilian reals from Carrefour (+7.1%) and 24.78 billion Brazilian reals from Atacadão (+8.3%).
